Description

When debt gets bad enough, even the money you haven’t earned yet already belongs to someone else.

You work, you earn, you pay. Before you can even settle what you owe, another payment is waiting. Sometimes the more you earn, the more you seem to lose. This can go on for months, sometimes years. Eventually, you are no longer working for yourself, but simply working to pay other people. And the worst part is knowing that even next month, nothing may change.

There are people who have spent years living like this. Every time they manage to clear something, another problem comes along. Money they meant to save ends up going towards bills, repayments or unexpected expenses. No matter how hard they work, they never seem to get ahead. Slowly, debt becomes something they have learned to live with.

Na Plod Nee — Breaking Free From Debt

In Thai wicca, there is a particular form of magic called Na Plod Nee, meaning to release or clear debts. Traditionally, people turn to this wicca to overcome financial hardship and improve wealth luck. They seek a way out of situations where money never seems to be enough.

The problem with debt is that clearing what you owe is only one part of it. If your income remains poor or your business continues struggling, you may end up in the same situation again. This is especially true when every little bit of money you earn seems to disappear.

This is why the wealth aspect of Na Plod Nee is just as important. Besides overcoming debts, people also seek its help to attract money, improve business, open financial opportunities and bring better fortune.

After all, there is little point in clearing your debts if you are going to spend the rest of your life borrowing money just to survive.

Why Two Kumantong?

Ajarn Subin Na Na Thong created this rather unusual takrut in BE 2556. He combined the traditional wealth and fortune aspects of Kumantong with Na Plod Nee wicca.

In Thai beliefs, people commonly associate Kumantong with wealth, luck, business, protection and assistance in everyday matters. Many seek their help in attracting customers, improving income and bringing unexpected money. Others seek their assistance with difficulties that seem impossible to overcome.

For this particular creation, however, the main focus is financial hardship. Ajarn Subin combined Kumantong wicca with Na Plod Nee to help the owner clear debts. The intention is also to attract the wealth and opportunities needed to recover financially.

For someone running a business, this may mean more customers, better sales or money coming in more regularly. It may also mean finally recovering after a long period of poor business. Others may seek better work opportunities, additional income, windfall luck or unexpected financial assistance when things get desperate.

There are also people who seem to have terrible financial luck. Every time they manage to save something, an unexpected expense appears. Every time their business starts improving, another problem comes along. They are not necessarily lazy or careless with money. Sometimes things simply keep going wrong, one after another, until they have almost nothing left.

These are the kinds of financial difficulties that Na Plod Nee traditionally seeks to overcome. It is not simply about bringing in money for the sake of becoming rich. The intention is to help the owner escape a situation where no amount of hard work ever seems to be enough.

The Takrut & Its Blessing

This Nuer Nickel takrut takes the form of two Kumantong standing back-to-back, facing opposite directions. One has his hands together in prayer, while the other stands with his fists near his waist. A hollow takrut runs between them, with sacred characters covering their bodies and heads.

The words Plod Nee, meaning to clear debts, appear around the base. An engraved yant can also be found underneath. The two Kumantong form the main body of the takrut rather than decorating a conventional rolled-metal piece.

Ajarn Subin consecrated the takrut on 11 June BE 2556, at Sumethso Forest Retreat in Nakhon Pathom, Thailand. His work includes Na Na Thong wicca and traditional practices involving charm, attraction, wealth and good fortune.

Although the two Kumantong may look rather innocent, the wicca behind them concerns something that has ruined countless lives. Debt, poverty and financial hardship. These problems may not seem particularly frightening to someone who has never experienced them. But for those who have, they can become a living nightmare.

Based on ancient & traditional beliefs, this is said to:

  • Help clear debts and overcome financial difficulties.
  • Improve wealth luck and recover from prolonged financial hardship.
  • Attract money, wealth, good fortune and unexpected financial gains.
  • Improve business, sales, customer attraction and income.
  • Open opportunities for better work, business and additional income.
  • Increase windfall luck and financial opportunities.
  • Help overcome repeated financial losses, obstacles and misfortune.
  • Improve money flow and help the owner retain more of their wealth.
  • Gain assistance through the twin Kumantong wicca in matters of wealth, luck and prosperity.

Not everyone looking for a wealth amulet is hoping to become a millionaire. Some just want to stop worrying about tomorrow’s payment. Some struggle to keep their businesses alive. Others have paid debts for so many years that they can barely remember having money left over.

For these people, even a small improvement in their financial circumstances can mean a great deal. It may mean settling what they owe or having enough money to get through the month. Or finally saving something instead of constantly paying everything away.

Because sometimes, getting out of debt and finally having money that actually belongs to you is already a fortune in itself.
