At first look, this Phaya Yom Maharaj is raw and simple. The front is hand-painted in a rough old-style finish, while the back shows a heavy pack of dark materials that belong to the world of Phaya Yom.

But what can be seen is only part of it. Most of the real load is hidden inside the body itself, with many materials crushed, powdered, and mixed directly into the amulet instead of being displayed openly on the surface.

Inside this piece are materials such as cemetery soil, panneng, gradook, nam man prai, metal powder from a cremation door that had seen over 1000 spirits pass through it, and other special prai relics collected over the years.

What looks simple from the outside may carry the force of hundreds, if not thousands, of prai gathered through the materials and combined into one Phaya Yom Maharaj piece.

This is the God of Death, the ruler of the underworld, and the one believed to stand above prai, ghosts, spirits, yin deities, and unseen forces. When prai force is placed under Phaya Yom, it is no longer just raw spirit force. It becomes force under authority.

Phaya Yom Maharaj Re-Release By Ajarn Tom

This BE 2569 batch is a re-release of Ajarn Tom’s original Phaya Yom mould, first designed around 4 years ago.

The mould carries Ajarn Tom’s own direction for Phaya Yom. Raw, direct, underworld-based, and not made to follow the clean market style.

For this re-release, Ajarn Tom brought the mould back in a limited consecrated batch, keeping it accessible while still loading it with serious materials.

The visible back already shows part of the load, while many more ingredients are crushed and hidden inside the amulet body.

What Makes This Batch Heavy

This is not empty powder work.

The material body carries cemetery soil, panneng, gradook, nam man prai, cremation door metal powder, and other prai relics collected over the years. Some can be seen at the back. Many more are hidden inside the mix.

That is why the simple look should not be mistaken for a simple piece.

The front shows Phaya Yom. The body carries the prai force. And Phaya Yom is the one placed above that force.

Why Phaya Yom Maharaj Is Rarely Seen

Even with so many amulet makers in the market, Phaya Yom Maharaj is still not commonly seen.

The knowledge is not common. The materials are not easy to gather. And not everyone can handle this type of being properly.
