Said To Be 1,000 Times Stronger Than A Normal Ghost

Old Hakom belief says Hakom can be 1,000 times stronger than a normal ghost. Even many masters would not touch this wicca. It does not treat Hakom as a normal prai. Instead, it describes something closer to a ghoul, almost like the old equivalent of a zombie.

Old belief says Hakom comes from someone who already possessed strong magical knowledge while alive. Most likely an Ajarn, Lersi, or someone who dealt heavily with spirits. The darker part is how that person becomes Hakom.

Old stories tell of a master who used too much magic wrongly or dealt with too many spirits. Eventually, the spirits turned on the master himself. Hundreds, sometimes thousands, gathered around him until he no longer remained an ordinary human ghost. What came after was Hakom.

This is where the old saying of Hakom being 1,000 times stronger than a normal ghost comes from. Nobody means that as a scientific measurement. The meaning is simple: Hakom sits on a completely different level from normal prai.

Ajarn Tom himself once described Hakom as one of the strongest kinds of ghost he had. Old Hakom lore also goes into control, possession, attack, retaliation and destruction. This was never soft spirit wicca, and it was never something every Ajarn knew how to use.

A Wicca Kept Close Within The Kuy

Hakom has deep roots in the Kuy (ชาวกูย) tradition. The old tradition kept this wicca close and rarely passed it outside the tribe. Only selected outsiders received it, and even then, not everyone could learn it.

Phu Lersi Pong is the master behind the Hakom wicca later passed to Ajarn Tom. Ajarn Mee also comes directly from this same circle. Together, Phu Lersi Pong & Ajarn Mee made this BE 2569 Mini Hakom Bang Fai Zum.

Technically speaking though, Bang Fai Zum is not simply a Hakom statue or bucha. It is the mark and ritual vessel of Hakom. The owner works this particular Hakom direction through the vessel.

The full-size Bang Fai Zum still sits above this. It carries more, it is more complete, and it remains the choice for someone who wants the full Hakom form. This miniature serves another purpose. It is smaller, easier to hide, easier to keep close, and easier to use for one specific matter.

What Is Inside Stays Inside

Look at the piece properly and you will see that nobody made it to look beautiful. Ritual writing and yant cover the wooden tube, while corpse cloth wraps the top. Beneath that cloth sits the part we intentionally chose not to show.

There is a combination of materials inside, prepared according to the Hakom wicca. What exactly is inside? That is something we will leave where it belongs.

We could open everything and spread the contents across a table for photographs. We chose not to. With Hakom, curiosity should have a limit. Not everything needs to come out just to make a listing look more impressive.

The corpse cloth, ritual markings and hidden contents all belong to the working. This is not a commercial amulet made to look neat first and work second. It looks rough because it is rough. The things that matter most are not always the things you can see.

This Is Where Hakom Gets Ugly

Hakom can of course pull money, luck, saneh, attraction and business. But honestly, these are the normal side of Hakom. What made Hakom feared was always the other side.

Someone owes you and keeps disappearing. Someone keeps pushing payment back. A person agrees to something, then refuses to settle. Someone keeps disturbing you, playing dirty, creating problems, or simply refuses to stop.

These are the kinds of situations people traditionally worked Hakom for. Not just to pull something towards the owner, but to put pressure back. Hakom can push a matter, pressure the other side, stop interference and force a stuck situation towards an answer.

The older Hakom workings go much further. Old lore also speaks about cursing, possession, attack and destruction. That is exactly why this wicca gained such a bad reputation, and why the old masters guarded it so closely.

This miniature strips the form down, but it does not turn Hakom into something ordinary.

Debt, Settlement & People Who Refuse To Answer

One thing Hakom has always been known for is debt recovery. And debt does not only mean somebody borrowing money from you. It can mean unpaid money, something that should have come back, or an agreement someone refuses to honour.

It can also mean a promise that keeps getting delayed. Sometimes the other side suddenly becomes impossible to find whenever it is time to answer. Old Hakom belief uses pressure for exactly these kinds of matters.

The same direction applies to negotiation and settlement. Sometimes talking nicely works, and sometimes it does not. When somebody keeps delaying because there is no consequence, Hakom gives the matter another kind of pressure.

Money, business, agreements, disputes and personal matters can all fall under this direction.

Protection That Pushes Back

There are many protection amulets. Most simply block trouble and keep the owner safe. Hakom has another side.

Old Hakom belief says it can protect the owner and also push pressure back towards the source. If someone keeps disturbing you, cheating, provoking or creating trouble, the owner can work Hakom towards that person or situation.

If nobody disturbs you, there is nothing to return. But if someone keeps playing dirty, Hakom does not need to remain passive. This is why the small size should never make this piece look harmless.

Open It When There Is A Reason

One important part of this miniature Bang Fai Zum is simple: you can open the tube. The owner can work directly with it according to the Hakom method. Depending on the matter, a written request or another relevant item can go inside.

The materials already within should stay where they are. There is no reason to dig through them just to satisfy curiosity.

This form works especially well when you already know exactly what you want to deal with. It can be one person, one debt, one negotiation, one business problem, or one troublesome situation. When the matter changes, the working can change with it.

We will explain the proper method directly to the buyer. Until there is a real reason to open it, leave what sits inside alone.

Small, But Not Something To Play With

This is still not the full Bang Fai Zum. The larger version is heavier, more complete and carries much more behind it. But not everybody needs that.

This miniature is for someone who wants Hakom in something smaller, discreet and easier to keep. You can hide it, keep it close, and take it out only when there is actually something to deal with.

Nobody needs to know what you keep beneath the corpse cloth. They also do not need to know what you ask Hakom to do.

Money, saneh, debt, negotiation, protection, pressure, troublesome people, or matters that simply refuse to settle properly. This is where the Mini Hakom comes in.

Small or not, it still comes from a wicca once kept closely within the tribe. The old belief places Hakom far above ordinary spirits and links it with workings that can go much darker.

Do not buy it because it looks strange, and do not open it because you are curious. If you have no reason to use Hakom, leave it alone. But if you know exactly what you want it to deal with, this smaller form makes sense.

Use it properly. Know what you are asking for. And remember, the rules of Karma still apply.
