These two small Nang Kwak were Kruba Thep’s own personal set. His mother first kept them in her shop around 50–60 years ago before passing both figures to him years later.

Kruba Thep continued keeping and worshipping the pair for many years. More importantly, he kept them close to where he carried out his spiritual practice and almost daily chanting. Other monks and masters also joined him for rituals and ceremonies over the years, allowing the pair to receive those chants and blessings repeatedly.

Kruba Thep marked and released the set in BE 2569. BE 2569 is the year of release, not the year the figures were originally made.

What Is Nang Kwak?

Nang Kwak is one of Thailand’s best-known spiritual figures for customer attraction, sales, metta and wealth attraction. Her raised hand represents calling customers, business and opportunities towards the shop or owner.

For this reason, people commonly keep Nang Kwak in shops, restaurants, offices and other businesses where income depends on attracting customers. Online sellers may also worship her to draw attention, enquiries and orders towards their business.

The history of this pair fits that purpose naturally. Kruba Thep’s mother already kept both figures in her actual shop decades before they were ever released for sale.

Nang Kwak Passed Down Within Kruba Thep’s Family

Years later, Kruba Thep’s mother passed both Nang Kwak to him. He kept them together as his own set and continued worshipping them for many more years.

These are small and simply made figures. Their value does not come from expensive material, elaborate decoration or complicated workmanship. Instead, it comes from this exact chain of ownership—from his mother’s shop into Kruba Thep’s own keeping and worship.

The pieces themselves are simple, but the history behind them is not. This is not a newly created story added to an ordinary commercial release. The pair had already remained within Kruba Thep’s family for decades before he marked and released them.

Years of Chanting and Blessing

This was not one quick blessing before release.

Kruba Thep kept the pair close to where he chanted and carried out his spiritual practice, often almost every day. At different times, other monks and masters also joined him for rituals, ceremonies and collective chanting.

Because the Nang Kwak remained within the same worship area, they received the chanting and blessings conducted there again and again over the years. The strength behind this set therefore did not come from one ceremony or one advertised blessing date.

Instead, the blessing built up through years of Kruba Thep’s own worship, almost daily chanting and repeated rituals conducted together with other monks and masters. That long period beside Kruba Thep is the main difference behind this personal set.

Estimated Age and Condition of this Nang Kwak Pair

Based on the history shared by Kruba Thep, both Nang Kwak are estimated to be around 50–60 years old. The old casting, deep surface wear and natural ageing seen across both figures also fit pieces that have been kept for decades.

However, no original production record remains, so the age is stated as an estimate rather than an exact manufacturing date.

The two figures come from different moulds and were not originally made as a factory-matched pair. Nevertheless, these are the two old Nang Kwak kept together and passed down as Kruba Thep’s personal set.

Natural wear, surface marks and age-related imperfections should be expected. Please check all photographs carefully before purchasing, as they form part of the condition description.

How to Worship

Keep both Nang Kwak together on a clean and elevated surface. For a physical business, they may face the entrance, customer area or direction from which customers normally approach.

Online sellers may place them near their work area, packing table or business altar. Simple offerings such as clean water, flowers or sweet drinks may be given according to personal practice. No elaborate offering is required.
