Description
Ajarn Tom | BE 2566 | Size: 7.8 × 5 cm
An extremely powerful but also dangerous type of ghoul, said to be 1,000 times stronger than ordinary Prai. Even Ajarn Tom himself has said that Hakom is one of the strongest ghosts he has, and one of the more dangerous kinds of wicca to deal with.
This particular Hakom is slightly different from the usual ones made by Ajarn Tom. For a start, Ajarn used a large percentage of a termite nest found right in the middle of a cemetery. According to him, the termites had somehow used Prai remains to build their nest. The original material contained at least seven Prai, possibly even more.
A large chunk of Prai material is also attached to the front. Some of the original Hakom wax is still stuck onto it after spending years inside the tub. Meanwhile, the back contains six bottles of hardcore materials, surrounded by the original Hakom wax.
Among them are Pong Nang Piw Phi, a rare material from a spirit who was supposedly a master of deception. Someone who could escape even the most serious trouble. There is also metal powder from an old cremation chamber door with over 80 years of history and more than 1,000 deceased individuals behind it. The remaining two bottles contain Pong Prai Maha Prai.
Years Soaked In Pure Hakom Wax
This Hakom has been kept inside a tub of pure Hakom See Pheung since 2023, spending years soaked in the wax before Ajarn took it out. The wax comes from Ajarn Tom’s third and final batch of Hakom See Pheung, which also contains remnants of his previous two batches. This is the same batch featured in our Hakom See Pheung – The Pure Wax Of The Ghoul listing.
Ajarn Tom prepared it using a mixture of Prai materials, oils, powders, secret ingredients and additional Saneh wicca. He first blessed the batch during his Wai Kru in BE 2566. After that, he continued blessing it for several more months.
Unlike the usual Hakom amulets containing some Hakom wax, this piece spent years inside the pure wax itself. Some wax is still stuck to the front, while the same wax surrounds the six bottles at the back. Ajarn Tom has since stopped making Hakom creations.
Hakom – The Lord Of Ghosts
Hakom, also known as Phaya Ghob Hakom, is considered a ghoul, or something similar to the Western concept of a zombie. A being who is half living and half dead. Also known as the Lord of Ghosts, Hakom is said to be the ghoul of someone with considerable magical skills. Most probably an occult practitioner such as an Ajarn or Lersi.
According to traditional beliefs, a ghost like this results from using too much magic incorrectly. Eventually, hundreds or even thousands of ghosts possess the practitioner, turning him into Hakom himself. He is especially feared for attacking those who practise magic. Old accounts even claim that Hakom can possess people, make them seriously sick, and essentially turn them into zombie-like beings.
Despite the knowledge some masters have in the occult world, this remains a very dangerous kind of wicca, and one that very few know how to use. Ajarn Tom learned this wicca from his teacher, Phu Lersi Pong, who passed down the knowledge associated with the Kuy tribe. Traditionally, they guarded this knowledge closely, teaching it mainly within the tribe and only to selected outsiders.
Hakom is said to attack aggressively on command, while also defending his owner without being told. Other than fulfilling the owner’s commands, he is especially known for four things.
Cursing: Attacking and possessing people, causing sickness, losses and other kinds of misfortune.
Following: Tracking people, chasing debts, and helping with negotiations or settlements, whether monetary or otherwise.
Saneh: Charm, attraction, love and attracting the person you want.
Destruction: Causing serious harm and destruction. Be careful what you ask for, and remember that the rules of karma still apply.
Of course, Hakom is not limited to these. Wealth, business, protection, windfall luck and wish granting are also among the purposes traditionally associated with him.
Cemetery Termite Nest – Built Using Prai?!

A large percentage of this Hakom comes from a termite nest that Ajarn Tom found in the middle of a cemetery. According to Ajarn, the nest formed around a group of Prai in what appeared to be a mass grave of sorts. The termites had somehow used their remains to build the nest. Even Ajarn himself couldn’t properly explain how this happened.
Before removing the nest, Ajarn Tom performed a special ceremony to appease the mysterious spiritual presence associated with it. For those unfamiliar with Thai beliefs, people traditionally consider certain termite nests auspicious and sometimes even sacred. This belief goes back to older Tai traditions, where particular termite nests were regarded as signs of good fortune.
Depending on their location and formation, some nests may carry special spiritual significance. Because of this, practitioners sometimes use termite-nest materials in both mainstream and occult Thai amulets. There have even been unusual formations resembling Ai Kai or temple structures. But a termite nest supposedly built using Prai remains is not something Ajarn Tom comes across every day.

According to him, the original nest contained at least seven Prai, possibly more. Ajarn obtained the material around BE 2561 (2018). However, he didn’t immediately turn it into amulets. Instead, he kept the bulk of it at his samnak for approximately four years, chanting and blessing it daily.
The earlier termite-nest amulets consisted almost entirely of this material, together with spiritual oils and wax to hold everything together. For this Hakom, Ajarn used a large percentage of the same material to form its body.
Pong Nang Piw Phi – The Master Of Deception
Two bottles contain Pong Nang Piw Phi, a rare Prai material that Ajarn Tom prepared from the outer remains of a Prai. This material is extremely difficult to obtain and prepare because it deteriorates very quickly after death. The timing, temperature and humidity must be right. Ajarn must then dry the material using strong heat.
But the real interesting part is the Prai it came from.
According to Ajarn Tom, this Prai was a master of deception, someone who made money through casinos and other means. He was extremely good at cheating, manipulating situations and getting himself out of trouble. Even when facing serious legal problems, he somehow always managed to escape.
No matter how bad things became, he could always find a way out. This included situations that seemed almost impossible to turn around. The word problem practically didn’t exist in his dictionary.
Because of this, people traditionally associate Pong Nang Piw Phi with wealth, gambling, windfall luck, high-risk investments, escaping trouble and avoiding danger. It is also considered suitable for those regularly exposed to dangerous situations, including military and security personnel.
Cremation Chamber Door Metal – 80 Years & Over 1,000 Deceased
Two bottles contain metal powder from the original cremation chamber door of Wat Nai Tao, an old temple in Udon Thani province. According to Ajarn Tom, the old cremation facilities had served the temple for approximately 80 years, handling over 1,000 deceased individuals.
Throughout those decades, monks and Ajarns performed traditional chanting and funeral rites there. Meanwhile, the cremation chamber continued serving the temple and surrounding community. In Thai occult beliefs, practitioners highly value old cremation equipment because of its long association with the deceased and the spiritual world. They believe materials that have spent decades in such places carry strong Prai associations, especially for spirit-related wicca.
Ajarn Tom had known the temple for many years and wanted to obtain some of its old cremation equipment. However, the temple wasn’t willing to part with it. That changed in BE 2563 (2020), when the old cremation room collapsed.
Ajarn finally managed to obtain several materials, including the cremation chamber door and corpse-stabbing irons, in exchange for making merit towards the temple. During cremations, workers used the corpse-stabbing irons to pierce bodies and release accumulated gases. Ajarn later used these irons to make his Lek Taeng Sop takruts.
The material inside these two bottles, however, comes from the cremation chamber door itself, which Ajarn powdered for use in his creations. According to traditional occult beliefs, materials from old cremation facilities are associated with spirit command, keeping Prai under control, repelling hostile spirits and protection against spiritual attacks.
