Description

Ajarn Kitkamo | BE 2569 | One Of A Kind | Size: 8.2 × 4.8 cm

Another one of Ajarn Kitkamo’s personal Prai, but this time with something we rarely see in his other creations. A large piece of her own Panneng attached directly to the back, held together with his signature Murn Sarn. The entire back is also hand-yanted, with additional yants on the front.

The lady in the photograph is Nong Paeng, who drowned in a river when she was only 20 years old. Ajarn Kitkamo had already kept and blessed her for many years before eventually preparing her into this one-of-a-kind Mae Prai amulet.

Nong Paeng – A Phi Tai Hong Who Drowned In A River

Nong Paeng was only 20 years old when she drowned in a river. Although we do not know the exact circumstances surrounding her death, she belongs to the category of spirits known as Phi Tai Hong, those who died suddenly or unnaturally.

In Thai occult beliefs, Phi Tai Hong are believed to be stronger than ordinary deceased spirits. Their lives ended before their time, often leaving behind unfulfilled desires, attachments and unresolved matters. This is why such spirits are highly sought after among practitioners dealing with darker Prai wicca.

There is also an older belief surrounding those who drowned in rivers. These spirits are sometimes associated with Phi Nam or Phrai Nam, a category of water spirits believed to remain attached to the places where they lost their lives. Some accounts describe them as particularly restless, especially when their deaths were sudden.

However, Nong Paeng was not simply a Prai whose materials were obtained and immediately used to make an amulet. She had already been under Ajarn Kitkamo’s care for many years.

Years Under Ajarn Kitkamo’s Care

For those familiar with Ajarn Kitkamo’s personal Prai, you should know that he has kept several individual spirits at his samnak for many years.

Rather than immediately preparing them into amulets, Ajarn kept these Prai under his care, regularly chanting, blessing and making offerings according to his practices. Some remained with him for years before he eventually decided to release them as individual Prai amulets.

Nong Paeng was among them. She had already received many years of chanting and blessings before Ajarn prepared this piece in BE 2569.

According to traditional Prai beliefs, these years of cultivation are believed to strengthen the Prai and establish a closer connection between the spirit and the Ajarn. This is also one reason older personal Prai that have spent years under an experienced practitioner’s care are especially appreciated.

Her Own Panneng – The Larger, The Stronger

For those familiar with hardcore Prai materials, you should know that Panneng is among the most sought-after materials, particularly when it comes from a Phi Tai Hong.

According to traditional beliefs, Panneng maintains a direct connection to its original owner and serves as a vessel for the Prai. The larger the Panneng, the stronger the spiritual connection and power it is believed to carry. This is why larger pieces are especially prized, compared to ordinary Prai powders or tiny fragments.

What makes Nong Paeng different is the sizeable piece of her own Panneng attached directly to the back. It belongs to the very same lady whose photograph appears on the front.

If you’ve seen Ajarn Kitkamo’s other individual Prai creations, such as Mae Prai Nonglak, Mae Prai SaengDao and Kumaree Lamduan, most contain only smaller portions of their personal Prai relics.

Nong Paeng, however, has a substantially larger piece of her own Panneng. This is something we rarely see among Ajarn Kitkamo’s individual Prai releases.

Signature Murn Sarn & Hand-Yanted Front And Back

Ajarn Kitkamo used his signature Murn Sarn to secure the large piece of Panneng at the back. Those familiar with his other Prai creations should recognise this traditional blend of occult materials.

The back is also fully hand-yanted by Ajarn himself, with additional yants on the front alongside Nong Paeng’s photograph.

Rather than just relying on the materials, Ajarn also performed his blessings and applied his Prai wicca to this amulet, following the same traditional practices used for his other personal Prai creations.

The Assistance Of Mae Prai Nong Paeng

Mae Prai are traditionally kept for assistance with saneh, metta, wealth, relationships and personal wishes. Unlike amulets containing general Prai powders, these personal Prai creations involve an individual spirit with her own identity and history.

Owners may seek Nong Paeng’s assistance in matters such as attracting someone they desire, improving relationships, bringing in customers, increasing wealth luck or overcoming difficult situations.
