This is not just another prai or occult-based amulet. The first thing that makes this piece unusual is the takrut itself — old temple drum skin, a material already found in Thai sacred and takrut, now turned into the body carrying something far darker. Old temple drum skin has appeared directly in takrut consecration, where master would write yants onto the skin before rolling it into form. That gives this material a very different background from ordinary hide used simply because it was available.

Here, however, the maker takes that sacred material in a much darker direction. The Hakom Phi Phong fixed onto it comes from a dense mixture of Wan Phi Phong, Wan 108, Pong Prai, Pong Prai Lukkok, Phi Tai Hong relics, Nam Man Prai, gradook and other unrevealed components. The old temple drum skin forms the takrut body, while multi-coloured blessed strings bind the entire piece together.

Hakom presses, dominates and breaks resistance. Phi Phong pulls, moves and reacts. One pushes while the other pulls. Because of this, the purpose goes far beyond ordinary wealth attraction.

This is for situations that refuse to move — money that stays stuck, deals that keep dragging, debts that remain unpaid, people who resist, competition that turns dirty, and problems that need to be settled before they grow. Instead of waiting for things to improve, Hakom Phi Phong pulls opportunities closer while putting pressure on whatever keeps standing in the way.

At the same time, it covers more than wealth and business. The other side deals with control, opposition, backstabbers, retaliation, protection, influence and situations where something needs to be forced toward an outcome.

Hakom is not an ordinary spirit. According to the belief behind this wicca, an Ajarn or Lersi can go too deep, take in too much and cross beyond normal human form.

Because of this, old teachings connect Hakom with guarded Kuy wicca and describe it as something far heavier than an ordinary spirit-based working. Not simply one spirit, but many forces held within one form. This is where its reputation for overwhelming pressure and aggression comes from.

Hakom does not just influence. Instead, it takes control, overwhelms resistance, pressures decisions and makes people respond. When debts remain unpaid, negotiations stall or someone keeps refusing to cooperate, the purpose is not to keep asking nicely. It presses until something moves.

Meanwhile, Hakom also carries wealth, results, charm and influence. However, that attraction comes with more weight behind it. People do not just notice; they respond.

Phi Phong – Forbidden Force That Pulls & Reacts

Phi Phong comes from another forbidden edge of old wicca. In folklore, it links back to someone who pushes certain occult methods too far until the force consumes them, leaving them unstable and no longer fully in control.

Here, however, the method changes. Instead of allowing the person to become Phi Phong, the maker cultivates the force through Wan Phi Phong. The maker feeds and chants over the plant, pushing it until it awakens. After that, the process refines, contains and locks the force into form so it follows direction instead of running loose.

Once contained, Phi Phong works through money, opportunity, movement, pulling favourable situations closer and reaction. It can help bring useful people and circumstances toward the owner, make deals move easier and push problems, bad intent or unwanted interference away before they have time to build.

Charm and attraction can still fall within its effects, but that is not the whole nature of Phi Phong. Its darker side is movement and reaction, responding when the situation changes instead of simply sitting there. Phi Phong does not stay passive; it reacts.

Old Temple Drum Skin – Sacred Material Taken Into Darker Wicca

This is where the construction becomes especially unusual.

Old temple drum skin is not just ordinary hide with age behind it. Thai sacred-object traditions include old temple drum skin takruts where makers wrote directly onto the skin and rolled it into form. In broader drum traditions, makers could also place sacred writing directly onto drum heads according to the effect they wanted.

That matters here because the maker does not hide the skin somewhere inside the mixture. The old temple drum skin becomes the actual takrut body.

The maker writes onto the old skin, rolls it into form and binds it with multi-coloured blessed strings before fixing the Hakom Phi Phong onto it. These blessed threads form part of the takrut binding, not simple decoration. Similar blessed and coloured thread bindings also appear in traditional takrut construction.

The contrast is hard to miss. A material already tied to sacred writing and traditional takrut making now becomes the body carrying Hakom, Phi Phong, prai powders, Phi Tai Hong relics, Nam Man Prai and gradook. Sacred material forms the body, blessed strings bind it, and darker wicca sits directly on top. Everything comes together in one piece.

Only 25 Made

The makers created only 25 pieces in total. Because they made each one by hand, the length, thickness, writing, binding and overall form naturally vary from piece to piece. No two look completely identical.
