𝑹𝒆𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒏 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒅𝒐𝒏𝒆. 𝑨𝒕𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒕 𝒘𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒕𝒉. 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒕𝒆𝒄𝒕.

Also commonly known as Phi Lu (皮鲁), he is regarded in Northern Thailand and Lanna traditions as the ghost-eating giant — the one that guards chedi (pagodas) and keeps things in check.

Some lineages believe he is an avatar of Tao Wessuwan, tying him directly to wealth and control over spirits.

Usually seen holding two swords, either standing or seated — not for show.
It represents:

• Cutting through problems
• Handling hostile forces
• Stepping in when things go off balance

𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗘. 𝗥𝗘𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗡. 𝗖𝗢𝗥𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗧.

Here’s the part people don’t say out loud.

You don’t go looking for trouble.
But people still:

• Lie
• Cheat
• Set you up, sabotage
• Push blame

Phi Lu is believed to deal with that — returning harm to its source, correcting the situation, and settling things on your behalf.

Similar in role to Phaya Yom, but more direct, more immediate.

Some even pair it with Prai Thong, where both are believed to act, as a form of revenge:

• Take luck from those who wronged you
• Transfer that luck back to you

Cemetery soil, wan, prai relics, oils, see pheung… layered deep, often hundreds of materials.

Set into it — a handmade Hoon Payon (BE 2565, Ajarn Nut).
Not decorative. Not filler.
