When speech carries weight — and what you say starts to matter.
Known as one of Phu Lersi Pong’s most proficient wicca, this Salika Amulet for Wealth and Influence was something he mastered early — and later passed on to Kruba Thep.
At his peak popularity about 10 years ago, even simple uncased pieces were already fetching high hundreds of dollars.
Rarer variants? Easily into the thousands.
Like most masters of that era, nothing was truly standard.
Even within the same batch and mould, materials at the back vary widely — meaning even “common” pims may exist in only a handful of pieces.
His early Salika designs were also heavily influenced by Kruba Krissana, whom he worked closely with long before Kruba Krissana became widely known.
This connection runs deep — with Phu Lersi Pong’s close disciple, Phu Lersi Gee Kong, being Kruba Krissana’s cousin.
Yet despite similar appearances, Phu Lersi Pong makes it clear — the wicca and ingredients are entirely different.
Together with Phu Lersi Techo and Phu Lersi Gee Kong, materials were personally sourced deep in forests and mountains.
One flower, one root, one tree at a time.
A process that can take weeks, months, even years.
And this is exactly why older pieces from a master are often favoured by seasoned users.
Sacred Materials & Old Method of a Salika Amulet for Wealth and Influence
Like pieces from that era — and even now under Phu Lersi Pong — the composition is anything but simple.
Over at least 100–200 types of wan herb materials were finely ground together.
Mixed with cicada — believed to attract wealth, prosperity, and luck, especially for business and career.
This blend was then combined with oils and various see pheung, before being casted.
Not made in the large chunk-style commonly seen today.
Back Materials & Wealth Symbolism
On the back sits a single gem known as Phu Sila Kham — a term used for golden/yellow stones associated with wealth and fortune.
Alongside it are two small pieces of silver — the dark grey pieces above and below the gemstone, naturally oxidised.
In Thai, silver is called Ngern.
Money is also called Ngern.
Therefore, this is placed to symbolise wealth attraction.
And finally, a single fishing hook.
Carefully sourced one by one in the past — by camping at well-known fishing spots.
Obtained from anglers and fishermen who had strong catches.
At times, this could take hours — or even an entire day, ending empty-handed.
Some would also intentionally ask for money in exchange for it.
It may look like a simple, even worthless item — but what most don’t see is the time and effort it took to obtain it.
Known as Dtakhor Giaw Sap, or Hook for Harvesting Wealth, it is believed to draw in wealth, opportunities, and customers.
To complete it, the twin Salika image is covered in gold foil — enhancing both its presence and its wealth-attracting properties.
Like pieces from that era — and even now under Phu Lersi Pong — this Salika Amulet for Wealth and Influence is anything but simple in composition.
