This is the first — and only — batch of rian or amulets ever created depicting Phu Lersi Pong himself.

Until today, there has been no official release of any other rian, locket, or Roop Tai bearing his image, despite years of requests.
As a result, this batch stands apart.

The Risk Behind Self-Image Amulets

Among many monks and masters, there is a long-held belief:

If one’s baramee (spiritual merit and authority) is not strong enough, creating an amulet bearing their own image can lead to serious consequences — even untimely death.

This isn’t just theory.
In fact, there have been cases where individuals fell ill or passed away shortly after commissioning their own image amulets.

Because of this, such creations are often:

• Avoided
• Not repeated

Some say choosing a rian (flat metal form) instead of a lifelike statue or locket helps reduce this risk.

This rian captures Phu Lersi Pong in his earlier years:
