Nam Neung is a rare Mother & Child Mae Prai by Ajarn Tom, created after five years of careful preparation and consent from both the spirit and her sister. Only 35 amulets and 20 Nam Man Prai were made, combining her panneng, sacred muan sarn, ancient burial jewellery, and powerful ritual consecration.

Description

Nam Neung is a rare Mother & Child Mae Prai by Ajarn Tom whose release took five years of waiting. This consecration could only happen after both her spirit and her sister finally agreed.

Ajarn Tom | BE 2569
Only 35 amulets and 20 Nam Man Prai exist in total.

Her name is Nam Neung (น้ำหนึ่ง). The name means excellent.

She is the sister of someone Ajarn Tom had known personally for many years.

Yet ironically, her life was far from excellent.

A Life That Ended Too Soon

Her story carries shock, sadness, and grief.

She was a mother-to-be, seven months pregnant. Her future looked bright.

Then fate took a different path.

One day she was involved in a car accident.

The crash alone might not have ended her life. But the impact pushed the car into the water.

Trapped inside, she struggled for several painful minutes.

Eventually the darkness came.

The accident took both her life and the life of her unborn child.

Unable to leave peacefully, and filled with sadness, grief, and anger, Nam Neung began to roam the world.

Ajarn Tom Intervenes

Eventually Ajarn Tom heard her story.

He quickly asked to take her under his care.

He wanted to chant for her, care for her spirit, and slowly appease her soul. Her sister agreed.

But Ajarn Tom understood something important.

Once her spirit became calmer, she should not remain stagnant.

Instead, she should help others.

By doing so, she could accumulate merit and one day move beyond this world.

Ajarn Tom first suggested this idea four years ago.

Her spirit agreed.

But her sister refused.

The Consent That Took Years

For those unfamiliar with Mae Prai consecration, a master must seek permission first.

Permission normally comes from:

  • The spirit itself

  • The family, if they are known

This process can take a long time. It can also become costly.

Because of this, some masters skip parts of the process.

However, proper permission ensures:

  • The spirit is fully willing

  • Results become faster and stronger

  • The risk of backfiring disappears

Four years later, in 2025, discussions resumed.

After many negotiations, her sister finally agreed.

But she placed one important condition.

The design had to follow her request.

The process required several changes:

  • Three image revisions

  • Multiple design changes

  • Several material adjustments

Only after all these discussions did both sides finally agree.

The final result is extremely simple, yet deeply personal to her.

Sacred Construction of the Mother & Child Mae Prai

Two forms came from this Mother & Child Mae Prai by Ajarn Tom.

  • The amulet

  • The Nam Man Prai

Both remain directly connected to her spirit.

For the Nam Man Prai, Ajarn Tom used her pure Nam Man Prai.

He then wrapped it with her corpse cloth.

A yant was drawn on top, subtle and barely visible.

The amulet used the remaining physical prai relics connected to her.

Over time, her panneng became extremely dry and fragile.

Ajarn Tom carefully crushed the panneng and mixed it with:

  • Cemetery soil from nine cemeteries

  • Sacred muan sarn powders

  • Nam Neung Prai wax

  • Her prai relics

Burial Jewellery Requested by Her

The back of the amulet follows her own request.

It contains ancient burial jewellery, estimated to be hundreds to a thousand years old.

Inside the back you will find:

  • Broken ancient bangles

  • Carefully placed fragments

  • A single ring or earring at the center

She loved jewellery in life.

She could not afford many pieces then.

Now she can finally be surrounded by them.

Ancient jewellery like these also carry a reputation. Many believe they hold strong energy for:

  • Wealth

  • Gambling luck

  • Overall fortune

Each piece also contains one of the following, according to her request:

  • Mini Nang Kwak

  • Mae Per

  • Nine Tail Fox

  • Yintong

Finally, Ajarn Tom seals the back with a large dab of her prai wax.

Panneng Spirit Support within the Mae Prai Amulet

Each amulet also contains a panneng layer in the center.

Ajarn Tom explained that this panneng belongs to another spirit with a similar background.

This spirit now acts as an assistant spirit, helping Nam Neung.

However, the main spirits remain Nam Neung and her unborn child.

Owners should therefore worship both of them.

Ajarn Tom also recommends using the amulet and the Nam Man Prai together for the best results.

However, carrying either one alone still works if you prefer not to carry both.
