Her life ended through betrayal, emotional collapse, and unresolved attachment. Because of this, her presence did not settle naturally. Instead, Ajarn Tom took Dao under his care and kept her close for nearly ten years, before finally consecrating and releasing her.

As a result, Mae Dao Panneng does not appear often.

This is the first batch, and it has largely disappeared from circulation. Most pieces remained with early keepers and never returned to the market. Therefore, encountering one today is extremely rare.

Inner Construction — Core Placement

Dao’s presence does not disperse or dilute.

Instead, her Panneng sits at the core of the amulet. Ajarn Tom positioned it directly between her image and the Murn Sarn, ensuring that her presence remained stable and contained. Over the years, he accumulated and refined the surrounding materials while Dao stayed under his care. He then sealed them together as a single, cohesive presence.

The inner composition includes:

Because the Panneng anchors the structure, Dao’s presence remains aware and consistent. Consequently, she responds with control rather than volatility.

History — Mae Dao

Her name is Dao.

Originally from northern Thailand, Dao later worked in a Pattaya cabaret to survive. At the same time, she supported the man she loved, who depended on her financially.

However, while Dao was away one day, he emptied her home of all her savings and disappeared.

That betrayal broke her.

Unable to process the loss, Dao ended her life.

Because her passing came from love, betrayal, and emotional collapse, her spirit could not move on. Ajarn Tom first took Dao in during his monkhood and continued caring for her after leaving the robes and becoming an ajarn.

Over nearly ten years, he did not suppress her anger or discard it. Instead, through steady guidance and care, he gradually converted Dao’s frustration and vengeance into strength and purpose. In turn, this allowed her to assist those who keep her, rather than disrupt their lives.

That long period of care defines who Dao is today.
