Cheuk Pakan Boran Takrut – Ajarn Tom
From Ajarn Tom’s Personal Pakam Shrine | BE 2565 | Only 20 Made
Size: 10.8 x 4 cm
Maker & Origin
From Ajarn Tom’s personal shrine, this Cheuk Pakan Boran Takrut (เชือกปะกำโบราณ) stands among the most extraordinary and sacred works of wicca. Only 20 pieces were created, each from a 50-year-old elephant-catching rope known as Cheuk Pakam.
Unlike common versions, this one features three tightly braided strands, representing triple power and resilience.
Each strand was prepared through traditional methods passed down over generations. Ajarn Tom selected the material himself and performed the full consecration process — ensuring every piece carried real, living energy.
Sacred Background & Provenance Of Cheuk Pakam Rope
This Cheuk Pakam rope originated from the Pakam Shrine in Aa Jiang, Surin Province, a village long associated with elephant handlers and spiritual masters. It once guided real elephants during royal events and village ceremonies. Over time, its power grew as it absorbed both sacred chants and the breath of living beings.
According to Thai belief, Cheuk Pakan holds the life essence of the elephants, the buffalo skin it was crafted from, and the masters who used it. Recognising its immense energy, Ajarn Tom spent months negotiating with the shrine’s elders to release this relic. His sincerity eventually moved them.
After receiving it, he personally cut, cleansed, and re-blessed every section through intense wicca rituals. To amplify its flow of power, he later added saisin cords along the top, middle, and bottom. Initially, Ajarn intended to keep it solely for his altar. Yet after meditation, he chose to share part of it with his disciples. In total, around 70% of the original rope became these takruts.
Construction & Design
Each takrut features hand-drawn yant, sacred wrappings, and woven saisin threads. Personally blessed by Ajarn Tom, it represents the true current of his lineage.
There are no restrictions when wearing the Cheuk Pakam— you can pair it with Phra or Prai. For even stronger results, combine it with Chang-related wicca or phayant.
Every detail reflects both purpose and power — crafted to endure, to protect, and to connect its wearer to the same sacred current that once tamed the mighty elephant.
Spiritual Significance Of Cheuk Pakam Rope
In Thai culture, the elephant (Chang) symbolises strength, wisdom, and royal authority. To control such a being requires energy even greater — the power of Cheuk Pakan.
This takrut embodies command, metta, protection, and leadership in perfect harmony. Because the rope had been used for decades, it became alive with force. Each ceremony and prayer infused it with vitality. This bond between humans and elephants forms the foundation of its timeless power.
