But in the past 20 years or so have been neglected and overlooked by most foreigners, who deem it to be a low end item.

This could had been caused by the of fakes popping up in the market, costing 10-20 dollars, perhaps even lesser. The problem is a good one, consecrated properly by a practioners, will usually cost alot more then that.

Nowadays, it seems like these kind of pieces are only collected and used by practioners, and also a extremely small group of people who really, truly understand it.

Many people do not Know that Phra Ngang has history going way back, long before the Khmer empire was even thought of. The true Ngang Wicha is said to be as old as time.

Only a few of the oldest & most skilled masters actually possess the real Wicca, but sadly, their works are often overlooked by most, due to its simple looking design, which most will feel doesn’t justify the price.
