A legendary, and traditionalistic master who is still adamant in doing things the ancient, and traditional way.

First off, right off the bat, followers will know that Lersi Pong is actually the teacher of both Kruba Thep, Ajarn Tom, & Ajarn Bee, three masters who we had been featuring intensely before.

He is known for his immense knowledge on rare & powerful wicca, and more importantly, the full, proper wicca, not the “modern, cut corner” type, and the wicca he had taught to his disciples are all extremely well known now, like the Hakom wicca of Ajarn Tom, the salika wicca of Kruba Thep.

0) 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲

Lersi Pong, or full name, Lersi Phongsapat, was born on the 13th of April, 1971 (BE 2514), which also happens to be the songkran period.

1) 𝗔 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗠𝘂𝗮𝘆 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗶 𝗙𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗿

From a young age of 14 years old, in the year 1985 (BE 2528) he has started to become a competitive Muay Thai boxer, and quickly rose to fame, and went by the name, “Pra Kasip Ror Janak Rit”, and was even featured on magazines before (photo attached)

Devoting his life to Muay Thai, everyone though that this would end up becoming a life-long career for him, if things hasn’t taken a unexpected twist of fate..

He would continue to be a full-time Muay Thai boxer for the next 12 years, with a year of haitus in 1988 (BE 2531), where he took a year off, to ordain as a monk, under a monk by the name of Phra Ajarn Joy (more on him later) then continuing back, till 1996 (BE 2539).

2) 𝗔𝗻 𝘂𝗻𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝘄𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵

However, during one faithful in the year 1996 (BE 2539), Lersi Pong (then still a Muay Thai Boxer), who has a passion for firearms, was playing around with one of the guns he had, exploded in his hands (it wasn’t mention what kind of gun, but Lersi had mention it was a gun made in Thai, and while he still likes playing with guns till date, he only gets those made in the USA).

After this unfortunate accident, and left with only a single hand, his Muay Thai career would suddenly be gone, and unable to cope with the sudden lost of a hand, and his career & passion, he was devastated.

In the time that followed, he would become extremely sad & depress, abandon himself to despair, and hide in the forest everyday, wanting to isolate himself from the world.

3) As the saying goes, 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀.

While roaming the forest mindlessly, he stumbled onto a master, who would 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫..

A master, by the name of Phra Ajarn Sampat Tantak Jitoh, who is a forest monk, known as Phra Tudong, who is a type of monk who doesn’t reside in a temple, and is always on the move. He would counsel and provide guidance for him, which helped him to move on from the accident, and later on, become his teacher too.

Around the same period of time, he also met Phra Ajarn Som Rattananon, who would later become his godfather, and also his first teacher.

After learning for a short period of time, he would start learning from Phra Ajarn Sampat as well.

Within the next few months, he would meet another mentor of his, Phra Ajarn Yang Tuk Jitoh, and he would learn from these three monks, and at the same time, Phra Ajarn Yang would be doing sakyant for him in his free time.

𝗛𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲.

And after 4 years & 2 months, he would graduate as a Ajarn, and started to assist villagers in the area with small tasks and issues, before gaining worldwide fame a few years later.

In 2007/08 (BE 2550/51) , he would officially ordian as a Lersi, and continue to study and practice, widening his knowledge on Buddhism, occult and wicca.

4) 𝗚𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

By 2006 (BE 2549), his name had become known worldwide, and this was when he was first invited overseas to Germany, then Malaysia in the next few years, before coming to Singapore the first time in 2013 (BE 2556). Now, he is known and revert in many countries, including South East Asia, western countries like USA, UK, Europe, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and more.

At the time of writing, He is 53 years old this year, and had been practising for 28 years, and is a Practioner (Ajarn/Lersi) for 24 years.
