An extremely rare and powerful piece from the personal stash of Lersi Pong, this Kumanthep amulet carries a history that is not only sacred—but chilling.

We first came upon this during our private visit to his samnak last year. With Lersi’s permission, we were granted access to one of his old amulet stash —a collection untouched for years. Among the many, one sealed box held our attention: inside were Kuman and butterflies, but this one piece pulled me immediately. A weight in the air. A presence.

I asked Lersi straight away.

He shared that this piece contains the panneng of a 9-year-old boy—whose tragic end came during a horrific car crash in rural Thailand. Lersi himself, along with two others, had witnessed the accident. Rushing over with the intent to help, it became clear that the child was beyond saving. And in that moment, he retrieved the head—a case that would later make headlines and whispers among occult circles.

He kept it for many years, offering daily chants, guidance, and teachings in the ways of the Dharma and the arcane. Through time, discipline, and deep spiritual work, the child’s spirit elevated.

No longer a mere Kumantong—he was reborn as Kumanthep: a divine child spirit, strong in magic, calm in spirit, and ready to assist those who walk the right path.

Only a very limited number of amulets were created during that ritual period, and this is a one of a kind piece. Back in the day, pieces like this commanded thousands of dollars, not just because of the sheer rarity of true panneng, but because of the intensity of the wicca involved—rites not practiced anymore, by masters who no longer walk this world.

At the heart of this piece lies a real fragment of panneng, painted in gold and engraved with yants by Lersi himself. Embedded at the back is a used fish hook—not decorative, but a spiritual tool of old. These hooks were personally sourced by Lersi Pong and Lersi Techo, who camped out at fishing grounds for weeks, watching and waiting. Only when a hook had proven itself—catching multiple fish over time—would they approach the fisherman to buy it.

This item was not just about fish. It became a symbol of abundance, of always having enough—money, food, luck—a charm against scarcity itself.

Also embedded are ancient burial beads known as Lukpad Boran—necklace beads worn by the dead. While feared by some, these are highly protective and carry energies of wealth and spiritual merit.

In Thai belief, they are not unlucky—they are guardians.

The overall structure of this amulet is clearly reminiscent of the early works of Kruba Krissana, and that is no coincidence. Long before fame found him, he worked closely with Lersi Pong, often through the connection of Lersi Gee Kong, who is not only a direct disciple of Lersi Pong but also the cousin of Kruba Krissana himself.

The design is deeply symbolic: butterfly wings, representing charm and attraction; a miniature Kumanthep standing atop a lotus, symbolizing spiritual purity and rebirth; with an elephant and fish built into the body, standing for wealth, good fortune, and strength.

While visually minimal, the energy is unmistakable. Strong, yet serene. Dangerous, yet pure. A piece that can be kept by even beginners, but will grow in power with the bearer.

This is not a reproduction. Not a mass piece. This is a one-off, from a time and method that may never come again.
