This Prai Ngan comes from Ajarn Nut’s early working years and exists as a non-standard working piece, separate from his formal batch releases.

At the time, Ajarn Nut already produced large and clearly defined batches. However, he also created individual pieces outside those runs. This Prai Ngan belongs to that category. He assembled it using Ngan forms already in his possession. These included unused blanks, earlier forms obtained through teachers, or individual pieces acquired through other means.

Because of this process, no fixed master design exists for pieces like this.
They do not aim for uniformity or refinement.
Instead, each one reflects practical assembly rather than visual consistency.

As a result, appearance was never the priority.

OLD NAM MAN PRAI & NATURAL AGE

The thick greenish liquid visible within the casing is Nam Man Prai.

Over time, the metal Ngan naturally oxidised, which caused the oil to darken and turn greenish. This change did not come from blended oil. Instead, it developed through age and long-term contact between the nam man prai and the metal.

In Prai work, practitioners often read this as a sign of age and prolonged storage, not damage. More importantly, the casing itself remains clean and intact. This condition strongly suggests that the piece stayed within the samnak after consecration, rather than being worn or circulated.

Because of this, the piece continued to receive ambient chanting and ritual exposure over many years. Unlike short-cycle activation, this kind of long-term presence builds gradually and quietly.

Furthermore, older Nam Man Prai often carries a rawer and less filtered character. Earlier extraction practices differed from modern methods. As a result, older oils tend to feel heavier and more direct in use.

INTERNAL CONSTRUCTION (AS OBSERVED)

Due to the age and sealing method, the base cannot be fully inspected without opening the casing.

That said, several elements remain clearly visible:

• A piece of Panneng at the base

• High purity Thick Nam Man Prai
  

• Two miniature Nur Pong amulets to Mae Per

• The Ngan body bound with ritual-used sai sin threads

Traditionally, practitioners bind Ngan this way to either anchor the entity to its owner or maintain stability and control. In practice, this approach reflects older Prai construction, where function mattered more than presentation.

Visually, it appears plain. In some areas, it looks rough.
That outcome is not accidental.

However, for those who focus on effects, age, and working weight, this trade-off makes sense. Older pieces often sacrifice refinement. In return, they gain rawness, presence, and long-term consecration.
