Background of This Por and Mae Ngan Pair

This Por and Mae Ngan pairing was not part of a larger batch.
Instead, Ajarn Nut made it as a one-off, or in only a very small number of sets, rather than as a standard release.

Rather than following a fixed mold or structured production, Ajarn Nut formed this pair using existing Ngan bodies already within his possession — either inherited from teachers, or blank forms that he had previously acquired and kept for later use.

As a result, the release remained non-standard by nature.
There was no fixed quantity. There was no repeatable structure. There was also no intention for mass reproduction.

Construction

One of the most visually distinctive features of this pair is the dense greenish fluid visible within the casing.

This fluid is Nam Man Prai.
However, the coloration does not come from any unusual or experimental blend. Instead, the greenish tone develops through natural oxidation of the internal metal takruts, which interact with the Nam Man Prai inside a sealed environment.

At the same time, the casing remains clean and intact. It shows no signs of reopening or resealing, and the internal elements remain undisturbed. These details are clearly visible in the photographs and therefore require no further explanation.

The age of the pieces does not rely on suggestion.
It is already evident.

Because of the layered construction and careful preservation, full internal confirmation is not attempted.

However, visible elements clearly include:

• Paneng material positioned at the base

• Tiny Nur Pong Ngan amulets, shown embracing a female figure

• Three takruts aligned along the reverse of each piece

Por and Mae Ngan Pairing
