From the Thai–Cambodia borderlands emerges a figure wrapped in mystery — a 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐫-𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐏𝐡𝐫𝐚 𝐍𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐢 (𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐧𝐮), presented by Ajarn Tom. With 𝐮𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐬 𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐤𝐫𝐚, 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐡, 𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐨𝐭𝐮𝐬, it embodies Narai’s role as preserver of balance and protector of the cosmos.

The craftsmanship is striking: a 𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐊𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐫-𝐬𝐭𝐲𝐥𝐞 𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐧, detailed torso, and sash-tied lower garment, echoing the artistry of the 𝐊𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐤𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐨𝐩𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐢 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐝𝐬. Its surface shows 𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐝 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐨𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐝𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬, giving it the look and feel of an 𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬. Ajarn Tom is convinced this is a genuine ancient border find, and visually it aligns with that claim. Still, we must be transparent — 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐬 𝐝𝐨 𝐞𝐱𝐢𝐬𝐭, and without testing the exact age cannot be confirmed.
