One of the rarest forms of Takrut in Thai history, the belt takrut is a sacred relic few today truly understand.
Most people nowadays think of takruts as simple rolled-up metal sheets encased in plastic. But traditionally, one of the most respected and powerful forms of takrut was the Takrut Belt — a powerful protection belt made from dozens, even hundreds, of individually inscribed takruts, tied along a sacred rope and worn around the waist.
Among them, the most sought-after is the 108 Takrut Belt — each takrut handwritten with a unique yantra, then carefully rolled, tied, and blessed one by one.

Due to the time-consuming and laborious process, these are almost never made in modern times. Demand has also dwindled overseas due to a lack of awareness — making these belts even rarer and more precious today.

Consecrated individually all by hand, Ajarn Pi had mention before on average, he can only make 2 to 3 of these every month, due to how intense and sacred the process is.
Each one is individually written, rolled, and tied into belts while he chants and blesses them personally, invoking the ancient and powerful wicha of Narai Saton.

𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹-𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁
More than 10 years ago, during the last day of Songkran, a man wearing a Narai Saton takrut got into a heated argument. The other party pulled a gun and shot him from close range. The bullet struck his back — but instead of piercing through, it felt like a rock hitting him.
He escaped with only a red bump and a bit of blood. When the police arrived and saw the takrut he wore, they were shocked — the weapon was deadly at such a close range, and under normal circumstances, would have killed him.
