Taowesuwan possessed absolute power to punish any evil ghosts and demons. Therefore, people believe that Taowessuwanโs power is capable to destroy all inauspicious things, protect people from evil spirits, dark magic and curses.
Also known as the god of wealth, he is known to bless his worshippers with fortune and luck, along with his great power of protection, and can be often seen installed on temple doors.
But, with a being so holy, one may wonder, why is it being done on a panenng? Well, simply put, it may be a little unorthodox, but it makes perfect sense, when you realise it is a panneng of a actual practioner (ajarn), from Cambodia.
What makes it even more special is the prai see pheung added onto the back of it, which should, technically be consider as flesh relics, due to the purity of it.
So pure, that it was crawling with maggot eggs when we first receive it in the mail (uncased). Even now, if you look closely, there are still some remains of it, after burning it with fire (to preserve the flesh relics)
As it will only attack and destroy evil spirits, it is totally safe to possess it along with any prai as well.
