A older classic from 2 years ago.
Starting off with a nice piece of real silver, wrapped around a piece of panneng, it is hand etched with a image of Khun Paen, hugging his wife.
Precious metal like gold & silver are often seen as the best materials in amulet making, mainly due to the believe that they hold strong “Palang”, power, and also what they represents.
Silver, is linked to the moon, wisdom, intuition, and protection from evil forces. It is often seen as a purifier against negative energy. The name of it in Thai, “Ngern”, is exactly the same as the term for “money” making it a auspicious material as well.
While Gold, represents purity, prosperity, divine power, and blessings. It is associated with the Buddha and celestial beings.
However, making a amulet entirely out of either material will make it extremely pricey, which is why masters will often incorporate a little into it, rather then using 100% of it.
Silver and gold is a material highly sought after in amulets, not only for their beauty, but also for their magicial properties.
The back is kept simple, with the main focus being the murn sarn, which focuses on wealth & metta, and includes
-108 herbs
-Pong prai
-NMP
-Real Gold foil
-Tooth
-Takruts
-Ruby
The tooth, is something more common back then but lesser seen in newer release.
It can be added for a varient of effects, and can vary depending on who, and where it was from.
In this case, it is for wealth and convincing speech, by ‘biting’ onto wealth and ensuring you always have enough to spend.
Two takruts for wealth and Metta lines the side, with a single ruby at the center.
In Thai amulet making, rubies are highly valued for their power, protection, and prosperity-enhancing properties. They symbolize strength, wealth, and spiritual vitality, making them popular in amulets consecrated for success, leadership, and invincibility.
Rubies can be embedded in amulets to attract good fortune and health, while also being used in Metta & Saneh amulets to boost charisma and relationships.
It is also believed to amplify personal energy, ward off negativity, and enhance spiritual protection.
