For those who have been following our page for some time, you’ll know that we rarely introduce Kumantong. This is because of both preference and the desire to maintain high standards, and most pieces simply do not meet the level of energy we look for.

However, this particular piece immediately caught our attention. Even in its unfinished state, it radiated a strikingly subtle, calm, yet strong energy. Interestingly, many remarked that its initial form even resembled us—before it was painted!

As with all works by Ajarn Tom, every aspect of this Kumantong was personally handled by him. From sourcing sacred materials to molding, assembling, and performing the final blessings, each step is done with deep respect and spiritual discipline.

Given its substantial size and complexity, those experienced with prai amulets will recognize the tremendous value this piece represents. Staying true to both Ajarn Tom’s and our guiding principle, we strive to offer the best possible value—ensuring each piece is not only powerful but also fairly priced.

This Kumantong is crafted from a unique blend of multiple kuman spirits and cemetery soil, combined with samong din—an exceptionally rare and potent spiritual substance. Crushed ceremonial urns, traditionally buried with valuables, are also part of the mixture. Sacred nam man prai (NMP) and see pheung were added, not only to bind the components but to elevate the amulet’s spiritual power.

The back is filled with a sacred mix of Mae Prai and Luk materials. Mae Prai offers a nurturing, motherly presence to guide and control the kuman energy, while the Luk component strengthens and reinforces its spiritual essence.
